</head><body><p>Hi all,<br></p><p>I'm trying to install OpenSSH server on the Netkit latest stable release, but I'm running into some issues.<br></p><p>I have mounted the model filesystem on the host and configured a name server in /etc/resolv.conf, using the procedure explained in the FAQ. <br></p><p>However, the installation process hangs abruptly with the following message:<br></p><blockquote><p>E: This installation run will require temporarily removing the essential package util-linux due to a Conflicts/Pre-Depends loop. This is often bad, but if you really want to do it, activate the APT::Force-LoopBreak option.<br></p><p>E: Reverse conflicts early remove for package 'fdisk' failed <br></p></blockquote><p>Activating the APT::Force-LoopBreak option doesn't solve the problem either, as I get an error stating that /var/cache/apt/archives/locales_2.26-6_all.deb is not a valid DEB package and the following three messages. </p><blockquote><p>locales_2.26-6_all.deb contains ununderstood data member control.tar.xz, giving up</p><p>libc-l1on_2.26-6_all.deb contains ununderstood data member control.tar.xz, giving up</p><p>libc6_2.26-6_i386.deb contains ununderstood data member control.tar.xz, giving up<br></p></blockquote><p>I can't update dpkg (currently at 1.15.7.2) as I run again in the last three messages.<br></p><p>What should i do?</p><p>Arian<br></p></body></html>
