if you really want to get rid of the teql interface, I'm afraid the
only option is to recompile the Netkit kernel in order to disable the
equalizer network scheduler (CONFIG_NET_SCH_TEQL), or turn it to a
loadable module. Unfortunately, this option is currently compiled in
the kernel.<br>

could you please provide some more details about the scenario you are
considering? It seems to me that, unless you explicitly activate load
balancing among different interfaces, teql should not come into play.<br>
