I have mounted the model filesystem on the host and configured a name server in /etc/resolv.conf, using the procedure explained in the FAQ. However, the installation process hangs abruptly with the following message: > > E: This installation run will require temporarily removing the essential package util-linux due to a Conflicts/Pre-Depends loop. This is often bad, but if you really want to do it, activate the APT::Force-LoopBreak option. > > E: Reverse conflicts early remove for package 'fdisk' failed > Activating the APT::Force-LoopBreak option doesn't solve the problem either, as I get an error stating that /var/cache/apt/archives/locales_2.26-6_all.deb is not a valid DEB package and the following three messages. > > locales_2.26-6_all.deb contains ununderstood data member control.tar.xz, giving up > > libc-l1on_2.26-6_all.deb contains ununderstood data member control.tar.xz, giving up > > libc6_2.26-6_i386.deb contains ununderstood data member control.tar.xz, giving up > I can't update dpkg (currently at 1.15.7.2) as I run again in the last three messages. What should i do? Arian -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
