Dear Ashish,

indeed, kernel headers are not distributed with Netkit.
However, you can obtain them by getting a vanilla kernel package with
matching version number (2.6.26.5) and by applying the patches from the
applicable directory of the Netkit kernel package.

Regards,
Massimo.

To clarify, uname -r on my netkit machine gives 2.6.26.5-netkit-K2.8. Thus,
I'm assuming that the standard linux headers are not what I need.

I am trying to install Open vSwitch [1] into a Netkit image. Their build
script requires me to specify the path to the kernel build directory,
usually /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build. However, there is no such directory
in the images distributed by Netkit. Does anyone know how I can get these
files? Thank you.
