[Netkit.users] What are the modifications needed for netkit for create my own ?

Dear Julien,

while changes to the kernel are reasonably circumscribed and can be
(relatively) easily described in a documented procedure, changes to the
filesystem involve several tweaks, package configurations, even the
compilation of some tools from source code. Indeed, what we would like
to do is to wrap all the steps to create a Netkit kernel or filesystem
in a set of scripts that should automate the procedure for you. Of
course, those scripts would be more targeted at (Netkit-)developers
rather than standard users, but the number of requests we have received
in this sense makes us think that they could benefit the community.

Hopefully, it should not take much time before a preliminary release of
these tools is published, together with a newer (and, therefore, more
updated) kernel and filesystem package. Stay tuned.

Regards,
Massimo.
