Dear All,

this is my first post in this list and I hope someone had a similar problem :)

First of all, I want to work with IPv6 in Netkit, and consequently I have to compile a new linux kernel because I need IPv6 multiple tables configuration.

I'm following the information in the man page "netkit-kernel" to compile the kernel. The problem is that the kernel I had compiled doesn't work correctly in Netkit. When I try to start a virtual machine I get the following errors:

[42949373.370000] mmapper_init - find_iomem failed
[42949373.450000] SoftDog: cannot register miscdev on minor=130 (err=-16)
[42949374.060000] request_module: runaway loop modprobe binfmt-464c
[42949374.060000] request_module: runaway loop modprobe binfmt-464c

[42949374.060000] request_module: runaway loop modprobe binfmt-464c
[42949374.060000] request_module: runaway loop modprobe binfmt-464c

Can anyone tell me any idea?

Thanks in advance,

Mercedes Bernal
