[Netkit.users] commnication between host and vm

Hello All,
 i want to ping a vm m/c from main linux console( from where i created the vm by vstart....) by tap interface one way is by
vstart  --ethN=tap,TAP-ADDRESS,GUEST-ADDRESS but i do not want to bind the ip address to main linux m/c any other way to doing it.
