[Netkit.users] ssh password

I'm working with Michele using Netkit. We have this problem we can't
log in via ssh to the virtual machines shipped with the latest Netkit

Just to clarify the problem is not specifically SSH related. Looks
like it is not possible to set the root password using the latest
Netkit

passwd seems to work without errors, but the password is not set.
