[Netkit.users] question about the netkit filesystem scripts

hi to everybody, and thanks for the wonderful netkit scripts.

i'm running a gentoo box on amd64 with kernel 2.6.15-rc3 in full 64-bit mode

netkit works fine, and i've managed to use the netkit scripts to boot a
gentoo system with kernel 2.6.13.3 with the patch bs3 of blaisorblade.

all works well, except a small detail needed for practical reasons, that may
not be too much related to the netkit project:
when i boot the netkit kernel, after the login, the terminal has the same
name of the vm, this means that if i launched it with:
      vstart vm1
the terminal will look like:
      vm1#

how have you managed from inside the vm to know its name?

thanks in advance, and sorry if the question isn't netkit-related..
