[GDNET] One-Day Workshop in Passau and Bike Trip to GD'24

Dear Graph Drawers,

our group is thinking about doing a bike tour from Passau to Vienna 
right before GD. The tour would consist of an "official" work part with 
a one-day workshop at the University of Passau on Friday the 13th of 
September and the bike trips to Vienna the weekend right after. You can 
find an outline and a rough estimate of the costs below. At the moment 
we would like to know who is potentially interested in joining. So

Fr 13.09. Workshop at University of Passau
Sa 14.09. Bike Trip Passau - Linz
Su 15.09. Bike Trip Linz - Melk
for PhD students:
	train trip Melk - Vienna Sunday evening
	Mo 16.09. GD PhD school
for all others:
	Mo 16.09. Bike Trip Melk - Vienna

Note that each segment is roughly 100km, mostly going downriver along 
the Danube.
If you don't want to bring your own bike, you can rent an (e-)bike in 
Passau for 84€/114€ incl. drop-off in Vienna [1].
Alternatively, taking your bike on the train back to Passau after GD 
will cost less than 10€ (excl. your own ticket), the train Melk-Vienna 
with a bike costs 23€ (incl. your own ticket).
Hotel rooms in Linz and Melk will be roughly 70€ per person and night in 
a double room.
We will try to organize baggage transport Passau-Vienna and group 
bookings for the hotels.
