GD 2023

31st International Symposium on
Graph Drawing and Network Visualization

September 20-22, 2023 - Isola delle Femmine (Palermo), Italy

The 31st edition of the International Symposium on Graph Drawing and
Network Visualization (GD 2023) will take place at Isola delle Femmine
(Palermo), Italy, on September 20-22, 2023, with a reception on the evening
of September 19. A pre-conference PhD school is planned for September 19,
2023.

The conference will also feature a poster session, a Graph Drawing contest,
and keynote talks from distinguished invited speakers:

- Michael Kaufmann - University of Tuebingen, Germany
- Monique Teillaud - INRIA Nancy - Grand Est, LORIA, France

REGISTRATION

Registration is open. Instructions can be found at
https://gd2023.ing.unipg.it/registration.html.

The conference fees are the following:

Student Early (until August 20): 200 Euro
Full Early (until August 20): 270 Euro
Student Late (until September 15): 250 Euro
Full Late (until September 15): 350 Euro

On-site registration will not be possible.

All conference fees include the welcoming buffet dinner (19/09), coffee
breaks, three lunches (20/09, 21/09, 22/09), and the social dinner (21/09).

ACCOMMODATION

If you plan to stay at the conference venue (Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress
Centre), we warmly recommend you to book your room at your earliest
convenience, and to share the room if at all possible. We have a fixed
number of rooms blocked for the conference until July 31st. To book your
room, please follow the registration instructions at the registration page.

PhD SCHOOL

A pre-conference PhD school on Visual exploration of graph databases is
planned on-site at the conference venue for September 19, 2023. The PhD
school fee is 30 Euro and it only includes the participation at the
lectures. Each participant must register by filling in the corresponding
entry of the registration form

WORKSHOP IN HONOR OF PROF. LIOTTA

On the 23rd of September, in the afternoon, there will be a scientific
workshop followed by an informal dinner to celebrate the 60th birthday of
Beppe Liotta. All GD attendees are very welcome to join! The participation
(including the dinner) is free, we kindly ask you to register for the event
in the registration form.
