[GDNET] Result of the community vote to select the venue for GD 2024

Dear GD member,

Please find below the result of the vote for the choice of the venue of the 32nd Int. Symposium on Graph Drawing and Network Visualization (GD 2024):

  *   TU Wien, Vienna, Austria - Martin Nöllenburg and Robert Ganian - 42 votes
  *   Linköping University, Norrköping, Sweden - Andreas Kerren and Kostiantyn Kucher - 30 votes
  *   2 abstain

In view of this result, GD 2024 will be held in Vienna.

Congratulations to Martin Nöllenburg and Robert Ganian, and thanks a lot to Andreas Kerren and Kostiantyn Kucher, from the entire GD Steering Committee!

We would also like to recall that GD 2023 will be held in Palermo, Italy.
